Relief Support Workers (regular hours available) required for Residential Services in Luton and Barton Le Clay; with strong possibility of progression to full-time position. Join us and be a valued part of a great team; working to support others and better their lives everyday.

Salary
- Support Worker - Day - £7.81 per hour
- Support Worker - Night - £7.94 per hour
- Sleep-ins available - rate to be discussed at interview

You will be supporting Adults with Learning Disabilities and Mental Health issues in all aspects of their daily lives; in their home and out in the community, such as:

- All aspects of personal care
- Support with mobility
- Assisting with medication
- Support with all health related issues
- Support with all social related activities and accessing the community
- Developing daily living skills
- Support with developing communication skills
- Support with pursuing hobbies and interests

Requirements:

- Essential - Flexibility and ability to work at short-notice
- Essential - Excellent communication skills including ability to use of symbols and objects of reference
- Desirable - Previous experience of working with and supporting Adults with Learning Disabilities
- Desirable - NVQ/QCF Level 2 qualifications and upwards
- Desirable - Previous experience of working within a Residential Service
- Desirable – Full driving license
- Desirable - Previous experience in dealing with Challenging and Complex Behaviours.
