Full-Time (Day - 40 hours), Part-Time (Day,) Waking Night (Full-time and part-time) and Relief Support Workers required for Residential Service in Luton, Bedfordshire. Join this company and be a valued part of a great team; working to support others and better their lives everyday.

This role is directly with the company as an employer and NOT with a recruitment agency.

Salary
- Support Worker - Day - £8.20 per hour
- Support Worker - Night - £8.34 per hour
- Sleep-ins available - rate to be discussed at interview
- Holiday entitlement of 20 days’ per year, with accrual of one day per year worked

You will be supporting Adults with Learning Disabilities and Mental Health issues in all aspects of their daily lives; in their home and out in the community, such as:

- All aspects of personal care
- Support with mobility
- Assisting with medication
- Support with all health related issues
- Support with all social related activities and accessing the community
- Developing daily living skills
- Support with developing communication skills
- Support with pursuing hobbies and interests

Requirements:

- Essential - Flexibility and ability to work at short-notice
- Essential - Excellent communication skills including ability to use of symbols and objects of reference
- Essential – Full driving license
- Desirable - Previous experience of working with and supporting Adults with Learning Disabilities
- Desirable - NVQ/QCF Level 2 qualifications and upwards
- Desirable - Previous experience of working within a Residential Service
- Desirable - Previous experience in dealing with Challenging and Complex Behaviours.
