Having built a great network of relationships with the Learning Disability Teams, this care home has expanded and is looking for an experienced Registered Residential Care Home Manager to manage it's​ two small units, a four bedded and a five bedded homes (both in Seven Kings, Ilford, 10 minutes’ walk from each other).

They are looking for someone who is very organised, dedicated, have​ excellent communication skills and a natural leader. You will be assisted in managing the service by a Team Leader/ Managing Director.

Role:

- To ensure that the home meets the standards and expectations of its Statement of Purpose.
- The Home Manager will be responsible for the day to day running of the homes.
- You will be proactive in developing the home and raising its profile in the community.
- You’ll be work alongside our recruitment team for recruitment, retention and staff development.
- You will participate in the regular supervision of staff and ensure that the staff employed are able to carry out their role effectively.
- As the Home Manager,​ you will be responsible for the delivery of​ excellent service within the home.
- You will ensure that the home is compliant with care standards regulations and that evidence of such compliance is recorded and available for inspection by CQC and local authorities at all times.
- A critical requirement of this role is the maintenance of a high standard of care planning, care delivery, and record keeping.
- Attend regular meetings with the Managing Director and assist the Director of Operations in developing and implementing new approaches to service delivery

Skills/Experience

- NVQ 5 or above.
- Driving license and car
- Registered Managers
- Nurse qualification is advantageous
- You will have 2 year's previous experience in a similar position
- You will have a genuine passion and excellent communication skills.
- You will have a proactive approach to Management and be able to drive your team to deliver care of the highest standards.
- Salary is from £27,000 to £32,000 dependant on experience.
