With their headquarters in Clapham Junction and the majority of their estate spread throughout some of the best British countryside in the south of England, this company is truly a blend of dynamic entrepreneurial flare and countryside charm – something that pervades all that they do.

They are now looking to recruit one reservation manager to join the company The successful candidate will have a passion for the countryside and countryside pursuits, an engaging telephone manner and be eloquent and well-spoken.

Role:

- Process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone or mail for accommodation, food, drink, event spaces and experiences.
- Identify guest reservation needs and determine appropriate room type & services.
- Answer questions about property facilities. Follow sales techniques to maximize revenue
- Support the Yield process, by ensuring the Reservations Process adherence to selling strategies and yield management techniques as directed
- Responsible for ensuring all payments are up to date for past, present & future bookings
- Resolving guest disputes/complaints
- Ensure all procedures relating to bookings are handled efficiently and correctly.
- Manage online channels & relation with third parties
- Implement upselling tactics
- Train operational Teams on hotel procedures

About you:

- A love for the British countryside and its pursuits.
- Previous Reservations Experience
- Good knowledge of the Hospitality / Restaurant industry
- Computer literate and can use various systems easily (email, online platforms, excel)
- Articulate / Excellent telephone manner.
- Excellent organizational skills with a high level of accuracy
- Energetic and highly motivated.
- Administration and problem-solving skills
- Sales experience is a plus
