This award winning creative agency is seeking a recruit to join this consultancy's research and copywriting services department. This role would be ideal for someone looking to kick start a career in consultancy or communications, and will offer valuable training, mentoring and support from experienced consultants, as well as the opportunity to collaborate on large and exciting projects from the beginning. It is not necessary for you to have experience within investor relations or corporate communications, however a willingness to learn and adapt to the team is essential.

A training programme will be provided to support your learning and development across all aspects of the role.

The role will involve the effective presentation of ideas to clients, many of whom are executives within large public limited companies. You will be required to provide support to clients throughout the duration of a project, either via reviewing,‘wireframing’ (providing blueprints) for communications or providing support for clients via telephone, e-mail, or face to face meetings.

In addition to client work, the candidate will be an integral part of the the ‘thought leadership’ aspect of company, researching corporate reporting trends and identifying ways in which to improve their clients’ communications.

Responsibilities include:
- Reviewing annual reports and corporate websites, and assessing these against ‘best practice’ guides and examples.
- Producing wireframes (blueprints) for annual reports and website projects.
- Researching trends in reporting, developments in legislation, and best practice.
- Effective communication with clients in line with our ‘service junkie’ culture.
- Supporting the design and typesetting process.
- Collaborating with other departments, through regular meetings and internal communication.
- Potential opportunities for copywriting and copy-smoothing.

Necessary skills and experience (although you will have full training and support):
- Being analytical, and able to research confidently, with the skills to identify important points.
- Able to communicate and present your ideas to both internal colleagues and clients.
- Possessing strong writing skills; ability to write clearly and concisely.
- A thirst for learning and an ability to demonstrate independence and drive in familiarising yourself with new information and processes.
- Motivation and proactiveness, demonstrating an ability to work effectively on solo projects, as well as possessing excellent communication skills to collaborate confidently within a team.

Desirable skills and experience:
- An understanding of (or interest in) digital products, such as knowledge of Google Analytics and SEO.
- A creative eye and interest in layout/formatting of a document.
- The ability to approach tasks critically, constructively and with a questioning mind.

Remuneration
Entry level graduate salary starts at £17,000 with opportunities to increase earning potential as skills are gained.
