This market leader in Refractive Eye Surgery in the UK, is seeking enthusiastic Registered General Nurses (RGN) who enjoys new challenges to join their Company on a full time basis to provide support and nursing cover during Laser and Intra Ocular Lens treatments. The post will be based in their newly refurbished, state of the art clinic in Cardiff.
You must be a caring, patient and focused individual who keeps patient safety as your first priority. The role is primarily that of ‘Scrub Nurse’ in an ophthalmic setting however there are additional responsibilities including medicine and other stock management.
Previous ophthalmic scrub experience is ideal but not essential as full training is available for suitably qualified RGNs with at least 2 years post qualification clinical experience in a secondary care setting or similar.
The ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing, in addition to holding a current, valid UK PIN is essential to the role.
