Do you have an interest in the environment, and enjoy a role that gets you out and about, making an active difference to the environmental impact of businesses? Are you looking for a part time role, that will allow you to manage your hours around any personal demands? If yes, then they want to hear from you.

This company is looking for an individual who isn’t afraid to get stuck in, tackling the less glamorous side of recycling by carrying out waste audits. They are looking for someone with a passion for the environment, or a background in waste management or cleaning.

As a Recycling Operative and Auditor, you will be field-based, working throughout the Capital and at some of its most prestigious buildings. You would be tasked with completing 2 to 3 audits a day to a high standard. The role is very hands-on; you will be expected to open and sort through waste and recycling bags and determine what can and can’t be recycled. You will take pictures of the waste and weigh each material separately, completing a form with the results. This information will then be provided to our Account Managers to feedback to the customer.

The role will be paid by the hour at a rate of £11.00, and minimum 10-hour week, with some opportunity for overtime should you want it.

Key Responsibilities

- Conducting waste audits on the materials collected from offices, retail outlets and restaurants
- Making notes and recording the details of the materials audited
- Presenting the data in a coherent fashion
