Recruitment Officer

Every year, demand for egg and sperm donors outstrips supply, resulting in thousands of infertile couples being denied the chance of having children.

One of the newest brands of this healthcare services group portfolio has an unique opportunity for a dynamic and well-organised Donor Recruitment Officer to appeal to new egg donors across the UK.

The ideal candidate will come from a customer focused, target driven background. The donor recruitment officer will attract, manage and build relationships with potential egg donors ensuring that as many as possible are retained as continuing donors.

The donor recruitment officer will manage egg donor relationship from beginning to end and ensures that donors are medically and genetically screened according to Company and UK regulatory policies. The recruitment officer will also be responsible for interviewing prospective donors to ascertain their suitability as well as working effectively with the nursing, medical and clinical departments to ensure that donors are recruited in line with HFEA guidelines.

The Recruitment Officer will be located within the Donor Bank, within a busy and supportive team who are proud to be part of one of the largest gamete donor recruitment centres in the UK.

This is a really exciting role and the Donor Bank is looking for someone who:

- Has experience of working in the healthcare or fertility sector
- Has the ability to communicate effectively with doctors, nurses and clinical team
- Has a good understanding of reproductive science or women’s health
- Has a natural aptitude for a customer driven service environment
- Demonstrates the ability to forge and maintain relationships over the telephone and face to face
- Is an active listener
- Is a clear and confident verbal communicator
- Has the ability and desire to achieve targets
- Demonstrates proficient written communication skills
- Has good organisational and time management skills
- Has good administrative skills
- Is a good and effective team player
- Can commit to providing the highest standards of customer service
- Has a desire to work in the fertility sector
- Will focus on the requirements of the donor
