This award-winning hair salon is looking for a mature, warm and friendly personality with good communication skills and a positive attitude.
It will be your foremost responsibility to compassionately greet all clients and making them feel as comfortable as possible.
You will be required to professionally answer phone calls with a good command of English and book clients into respective stylists.
Duties:
- Answer incoming telephone calls and booking clients into different levels of stylists.
- Greet clients professionally, and determine which stylist would best suit them.
- Collect correspondence, mail, messages and courier deliveries.
- Schedule appointments, and reminding the respective stylist of any new clients’ requests.
- Receive payments, record receipts for services and handle and reconcile all petty cash daily.
- Assist with Admin as needed.
Skills & Abilities:
- To interact with people in a positive and courteous manner
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritise tasks according to importance in a fast-paced environment
- Multi-tasking capability
- Must be proficient in handling office equipment including multiple lined telephones, printers, etc.
- Dependable, punctual and able to work flexible working hours
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.
- At least 1 year of customer service experience.
