The opportunity

An exciting, full-time opportunity has arisen for an experienced Receptionist to join their team in the heart of Exeter City Centre. Working within a small, friendly team, you will provide a professional and proactive administrative support service to the business, dealing with both internal and external stakeholders. This is an extremely varied role where you will be required to act as an ambassador for the company at all times, maintaining a professional image to both employees and clients. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

- Audio-typing
- Answering the telephone and directing calls
- Meeting and greeting visitors and providing refreshments
- Ensuring reception areas and other meeting areas are kept clean and respectable
- Providing general administrative and clerical duties to the company
- Organising and coordinating meetings and events
- Updating schedules and calendars
- Processing all incoming and outgoing mail
- Update and maintain company records and databases
- Ordering and maintaining office supplies

About you

To be considered for this opportunity, it is essential that you have previous experience of working in a busy Receptionist/Secretarial role within a professional services environment. Taking into account the nature of the role, it is important that you have demonstrable experience in audio-typing, operating a switchboard and a natural flair for customer service.

What is just as important is that you possess excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to pay meticulous attention to detail. You will need to be highly organised with the ability to prioritise effectively. You will need to have exceptional interpersonal skills with an ability to build effective working relationships at all levels.

In addition to a competitive salary, the successful applicant will receive 23 days holiday (plus bank holidays and Christmas eve off!), auto enrolment pension and an annual bonus.
