They are seeking a Technical Report Writer. This opportunity would ideally suit someone who is a holder of a recognised Science or Engineering Postgraduate Degree and has previous experience of R&D in a relevant science or engineering sector. Join them!

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Manage a portfolio of clients, including liaison with clients and colleagues to ensure claims are optimised and deadlines are met
- Identification of qualifying R&D projects and expenditure through participation in technical and financial discussions with clients
- Revision of technical and financial assessments prepared by other members of the team
- Write detailed and robust technical reports that describe research and development (R&D) activity undertaken by the client.
- Business development scope in this role with performance based commission


Qualifications and Skills:
- Background in technology and science
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to translate complex ideas into non-technical concepts
- Excellent academic record in at least one subject related to science, technology or engineering
- Knowledge of UK R&D tax relief schemes and claim quantification
- Experience in preparation of R&D claims and how to maximise the tax benefits
- Project management skills
- Energetic, articulate and well presented
- Team player and ability to work on own initiative
- Ability to demonstrate a high level of commercial awareness
