This is an opportunity to join a well respected contractor within the Shop Fitting and Joinery industry, with a strong order book for 2020 and excellent projected workload for 2021 and beyond. They are a small friendly team, many of whom have been employed for 10 years and more, who work together to achieve the companies aims.
An intermediate level QS/Surveyor required to work full time in small-medium size, Joinery & Construction Contracting Office on project values up to 1.5million.
Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for cost management of contracts from receipt of drawings to completion
- You must be able to work as a team alongside their Senior Surveyor
- You will be required to maximize profits
- You must be an excellent negotiator able to deal with sub contractors, the client and professional QS
- Willingness to assist in other areas in the contracting process
- You will be expected to carry out site visits or site measures in the NW
Experience required:
- HNC / Degree level
- Contractor based experience in fast pace fit-out essential
- Experience of manufactured joinery works would be useful
- Bluebeam experience desirable
- Highly skilled in IT, Excel, Word and Outlook
- Full Driving Licence essential
circa £35,000 other benefits are negotiable

Mainly office based in Blackburn
Travel expected and reimbursed general within sites located in the North West on occasion sites maybe further afield.
