A superb opportunity has arisen to join a Property Development Company, specialising in luxury residential properties.
To assist the Project Manager, the ideal candidate will:
- Have a minimum of 2 years' relevant experience within a construction environment.
- Have the relevant qualifications
- Have strong numerical skills
- Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Have the ability to communicate effectively at a senior level, both internally and with clients
- Have strong negotiation skills and experience
- Be highly IT literate
The successful candidate will report directly to the Project Manager and will be responsible for:
- Preparation of BOQ's for various work packages
- Site measurement and records
- Day work sheets and records
- Labour and Plant returns
- Preparation of Subcontractors accounts
- Measurement and quantities for interim valuations
- Maintaining QS files and contract management
- Read/Review Site correspondence files
- Be competent in commercial site procedures, systems, cost control, variations of contract and
methods of measurement
- Negotiation with sub-contractors, clients representatives etc.
- Ad hoc duties as required by the job
