This company are a trusted, reputable construction provider who have successfully established a repetitive client base, working in partnership with a number of professional organisations throughout the UK.

They have grown continuously since 2009 and are now a well established provider of Construction services in the Midlands.

They require a QS/Estimator for the following duties:

Post-Construction Requirements
- Act as commercial point of contact for all live contracts.
- Ensuring the project and programme contract, cost, quality and time targets are met.
- Ensuring prompt and regular submissions of main contract payment applications and ensuring that subcontractor payments are dealt with fairly and in accordance with subcontract terms.
- Attend internal and external commercial review meetings.
- Negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Manage the commercial aspects of subcontract accounts from procurement to interim and final account agreement.
- Strive for continuous improvement of the commercial team and the Company.
- Manage commercial performance against business targets and KPI’s.
- Ensure that the delivery team are briefed and have sufficient commercial support to monitor and react.
- Ensure that policies are adhered to and that the requirements of legislation are met.
- Preparation of monthly management and financial performance reports.

Pre-Construction Requirement
- Assess tender documents to ensure sufficient information available to prepare tender.
- Take off quantities.
- Prepare and issue sub-contract enquiries and assessment of quotations upon receipt.
- Prepare and issue material supply enquiries and assessment of quotations upon receipt.
- Complete tender documents for submission.
- Prepare specifications and / or Contractors proposals.
- Submit tenders and follow up.
- Post tender negotiations.
