This company is looking for a Quality, technically focused individual to join their UK division. The ideal candidate would have a strong engineering background and experience, preferred within a furniture industry indoor or outdoor with a complex functionality.
Main Responsibilities
- Identification of general and specific Quality issues.
- Identify common themes to focus actions in areas that will have the most effect.
- Capture of all Quality issues (wrong specification, manufacturing, assembly, software, missing/wrong equipment/parts, transit damage, delays).
- Regular contact with overseas suppliers to progress, fix and learn about issues.
The Requirements:
- Experience of hands on inspection of components and a basic understanding of Quality auditing techniques.
- Relevant experience in Quality management.
- Experienced and an understanding of engineering design and product reliability concepts and tool sets.
- Able to complete root cause and corrective action.
- Able to make suggestions for future Quality procedure improvements to drive standards up further.
- A strong communicator with the ability to build relationships across the business from director level to shop floor.
- Experienced in liaising with large and small suppliers from overseas
- Willing to travel over seas
