This manufacturer is looking for a Quality Control Technician to test finished goods, raw materials and bought in finished goods to ensure they meet product performance requirements.

A Quality Control (QC) Technician within this company is responsible for the sampling, testing, measuring, accurate recording and analysing of finished goods, raw materials and bought in finished goods to ensure they meet product performance requirements. All laboratory work must be undertaken in line with the Quality and Health and Safety procedures.

QC Technician
- Quality control testing of raw materials, manufactured finished goods and bought in finished goods to ensure that they meet the product requirements, ensuring reliability and precision of test results.
- Testing of production material in accordance with EN Standards e.g. FPC testing of company levelling compounds.
- Maintenance of Lab and Lab equipment ensuring all calibrations and certificates are kept up to date.
- Assisting in the control of production formulations e.g. controlling of the “Accelerator / Retarder log”.
- Liaising with Production Supervisors to ensure required formulation alterations are effectively communicated to the Production Operatives.
- To assist in Production Meetings between Production Supervisors and Lab Team where required.
- Maintaining work and test results in line with the Quality Procedure.
- Continuing to work in a safe manner following the Health and Safety Policy.
- Reporting to Lab Manager (and potentially a company director) as required.
- Understanding and implementing the company mission, values, ethos and links to the relevance and significance as to how and why QC testing is extremely important in continually developing the performance of the company.
- Be a team player and ensure proper and appropriate lab and office communication, especially keeping others informed as appropriate.

- Assist HR department with administration, where required.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures including IPR and Data Protection.

Offering a competitive salary of £18,000 - £22,000 dependant on experience. Working 40 hours per week this is a permanent position with working hours of 8am - 5pm (1 hour break), Monday to Friday.
