Office base: Hessle, Hull.
Position: permanent position available
Salary: £21,000 - £25,000 pa
Hours: 37.5 hours per week to Monday to Friday
One of the world’s leading Health & Safety training providers are looking to recruit an experienced health and safety NVQ assessor. The successful candidate will join the student support team at the Hull-based, Hessle office providing assessor support and guidance to candidates studying distance City & Guilds accredited courses up to the L5 Diploma in OH&S.
It is essential the applicant holds:
- appropriate occupational competency in the above area.
-recognised assessment qualification - TAQA or A1/A2 (D32/D33) Assessor Award
It is desirable the applicant has experience of assessing distance students as the program uses City & Guilds new online portfolio system, Learning Assistant.
Other duties would include regular development work. It is an expectation to motivate/drive all learners to achieve in line with agreed targets and deadlines.
The role does involve communication with international clients, and systems are largely IT based, therefore good communication skills & being able to navigate a PC is essential. The applicant will need to be able to work as part of a diverse team, have excellent organisational skills and have a pro-active approach to work.
