This company is seeking a 17th Edition Qualified electrician with good commercial or industrial experience to join the electrical department.
The role will involve a combination of the following:
- Installation of 3 phase distribution and associated equipment.
- Fault finding on industrial equipment, electric motors and associated control gear.
- Installation of electrical containment equipment.
- Installation of control panels, distribution boards and associated wiring.
Experience of these items in a commercial/industrial setting is essential to be able to perform this role.
The role will also involve identification of resource requirements and working under own initiative.
Work is extremely varied and carried out at a wide range of businesses and locations within the local area up to 30 miles from Bishop's Stortford
Experience with electrical installation condition reports would be an advantage as would be experience working with inverters.
This role gives the opportunity to work for a long established family run business. This company has a vast range of electro-mechanical services including fault finding on electrical and mechanical equipment, service, repair and rewind of electric motors and pumping station servicing. They also carry out machining, metal fabrication and welding.
The role comes with a fully expensed van, so a driving license is essential.
