This company are seeking to recruit a self-motivated, conscientious and committed individual who takes quality personally.
You must have a do it now & can do attitude to oversee the Quality Control systems for manufacturing their products to ensure the quality standards and customer specification are met.
Based in the Aberdeen Workshop, reporting to the Quality Manager the position’s main responsibilities are;
- Supervising team providing guidance as and when required
- Coordinate, plan and oversee team tasks
- Ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and distributed accordingly
- Providing day to day administration (for example, team holiday, overtime, absence, reporting figures)
- Implement and maintain the 5S standards
- Responsible for identifying the training needs for team
- Ensure that agreed targets are achieved
- Continually improving current way of working and performance of department
- Promote a safe working environment at all times
- The maintenance of, adherence to and improvement of quality systems and procedures, including but not restricted to continual ISO 9001 compliance.
- Develop, support and actively encourage a culture of continual improvement by suggesting improvement programmes that involve team members and other employees.
- Support all company functions and personnel in the timely and effective delivery of all business goals and objectives.
- Support, encourage and implement a ‘make it happen’ and ‘do it now’ culture.
- Lead by example and demonstrate role model traits at all times.
- Carry out tasks assigned by Quality Manager
