This company is looking for a great QA Engineer (Automation) with a background in testing web applications to join their growing team in Stockport, Manchester.

They have a proud track record of numerous industry firsts and have an ambitious technology roadmap to ensure that they maintain their leading position. They are therefore increasing the size of their software engineering team.

As the QA Test Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering high quality automated test practices for all systems. You will have demonstrable experience and skills in developing, modifying, and executing automated software test plans as well as analysing and writing test standards and procedures. You’ll be responsible for the documentation of results and will work closely with the Software Development teams in resolving problems.

Essential Experience:

- 4 years’ experience in a quality assurance role with a minimum of 2 years in automated testing
- Creation and automation of end to end tests for JavaScript and API endpoints
- Continuous integration and monitoring principles
- Secure testing practices and familiarity with OWASP
- Grounding in MVC architectures and BPM workflows – and the developing of test plans for them
- Understanding of rapid development and continuous release methodologies
