This classroom tool is funded and owned by the Bowland Charitable Trust and led by the founder of Promethean.
They are looking to recruit an experienced QA Engineer to join their development team to assist in their goal of producing a market leading, high-quality educational platform for schools. As a member of the development team, you will contribute to ensuring the quality of business and technical requirements from definition to delivery.
As an integral part of the development team, you will have the following responsibilities
- Provide input to the creation of specifications and technical design documents
- Estimating, planning and coordinating all QA activities
- Production of well-structured test plans and test cases
- Identification and thorough recording of bugs
- Tracking of bugs through their bug-tracking system (Azure DevOps)
- Keep up to date on current and upcoming testing tools and strategies
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in software quality assurance roles
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
Desirable:
- Development experience, specifically in a .NET/C# environment
- Experience of automated testing frameworks such as Selenium
