Our client is an industry leading renewable energy technology company, backed by a global corporate, and have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Purchasing Assistant. You will be responsible for the ordering of goods across a range of products and services including; electric vehicle charging equipment, solar PV and battery storage solutions.
Reporting directly to the Purchasing Manager, your focus will be order stock, lease with suppliers, reduce lead times and help to complete project ordering on a daily basis.
Desired skills
- Previous experience within a purchasing role required
- Understanding of project buying to meet deadlines
- Ability to raise purchase orders & resolve invoice queries
- Experience with monitoring stock levels, chasing deliveries whilst ensuring on time in full deadlines are met
- Experience in completing forms & documents for supplier set up
- Experience in negotiations on stock cost and delivery times
- Working with suppliers % building a good strong relationship within supply chain
- Good time management skills IT proficient
- Excellent customer service support and the ability to work as part of a team
