This company is a growing manufacturing company that are looking to add to its accounts team. Their company is a family owned business that focuses on creating a welcoming and supporting environment for their team.

They are looking for a bright and erudite individual to join them as a Purchase Ledger Clerk/Senior Bookkeeper. The role will be based in their Warminster offices in Wiltshire and would be from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday with 30 minutes for lunch per day. However, the right individual will be expected to be accommodating with their hours when the job requires. They are advertising for a full time position but would consider part time as well for the right person.

Main duties include -
- Maintain and organise the sales and purchase ledgers. Must have knowledge of using different accounts packages and the ability to post, amend and investigate ledger anomalies.
- Reviewing financial performance and forecasting cash flow requirements, as well as being able to identify likely upcoming challenges
- Understanding of business tax requirements to ensure that items are posted to the correct nominals to ensure the business tax burden is not exacerbated
- Proficient in credit control and planning
- Perform daily bank reconciliations on several accounts
- General accounts administration and planning
- General projects that arise
- A strong operating knowledge of Excel
- Preparing ledgers and assisting the accountant with ongoing ledger maintenance and end of financial year reporting.
- 22 days per annum plus Bank Holidays

Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 per annum dependent on experience
