An experienced purchase ledger clerk is required to join a growing small Aim listed PLC. You will be part of a small dynamic Finance team handling the day to day transactions of this manufacturing and project based Group which stretches across multiple locations and companies.

The primary duties of the role will be:
- Managing the day to day Group Accounts Payable function
- Processing of expenses and credit card
- Processing of Payment runs
- Monitor and review the purchase ledger to ensure tidiness and accuracy
- Manage and process bank and supplier reconciliations including investigation and resolution of differences.
- Setup of suppliers / customers
- Ad hoc support across the Accounts function when required

The key skills you will be able to demonstrate at interview are:
- Proven experience in managing SME accounts ledgers
- Excellent understanding of inventory handling (including reverse logistics)
- Comfortable in handling supplier queries and payment demands
- Knowledge of double entry / good maths
- Comfortable with fully integrated ERP systems (SAP B1 advantageous)
- Proficient in excel and other MS office applications
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work as part of a team and unsupervised
- An ability to learn quickly and find solutions to problems
- A willingness to take on more and be involved in all aspects of the team’s work
- Ability to prioritise and meet tight deadlines
