This employer is a vibrant and energetic Property Management company. Consisting of multiple businesses, this well-established property group specialises in Residential and Student Block, Estate & Asset Management, operating throughout the country.

They're seeking an experienced Property Manager, looking to progress their career within a fast-growing organisation. You would be responsible for their student accommodation portfolio, managing different teams of on-site staff all over the country.

The ideal candidate will have experience of Property Management, ideally student accommodation buildings, managing staff remotely, handling Service Charges and have an awareness of compliance regulations. A strong focus on customer service is essential and an IRPM qualification or RICS equivalent is preferable.

While visits to sites may sometimes be needed, this role is predominantly office based. Strong communication skills are a must in order to remotely manage your site teams and ensure the smooth running of operations throughout the companies.

If you are successful, you will report to the Senior Property Manager and be responsible for assisting current Assistant Property Managers with the management of the portfolio along with other duties such as;
- Day-to-day management of student building portfolio
- Manage all repairs & planned maintenance
- Manage preventative maintenance schedules
- Appoint external contractors to manage repairs
- Establish & maintain relationships with suppliers & contractors
- Ensure operations are compliant with legislation & the company’s Policies & Procedures
- Assist the Senior Property Manager with annual Planned Maintenance & Improvement Plans
- Assist the Senior Property Manager with annual Service Charge budgets, management of H&S and insurance compliance
- Work alongside the Property Management Team to ensure a high level of customer service is provided
- Report to the Senior Property Manager on the progress, compliance & performance of the portfolio

Experience & Qualifications
- Experience of managing a team of staff, workloads, and projects
- Knowledge and understanding of Property Management, including leasehold & compliance
- IRPM, ideally MIRPM/AIRPM. Study support for this & any other relevant qualifications will be provided
- Knowledge of a Property Management System such as MRI/QUBE, Propman
- Experience in Major Works, Section 20, Fire Safety Works, procurement & cladding issues
- Knowledge of ARMA guidelines & requirements is desirable
