A Property Manager is required for an independent Estate Agent in Maidstone. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a well-established and respected estate agency.
The successful candidate must have previous experience working as a Property Manager and must also be able to work in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining fantastic customer service standards.
The role will entail:
- Managing the maintenance and repairs issues
- Logging repairs issues reported by the tenant
- Management of in-house property management system
- Liaising with tenants, contractors and landlords to arrange the repairs
- Creating the job sheets and organising and coordinating the maintenance jobs
- Managing the maintenance person and contractors
- Carrying out inventories, check-ins and check-outs
- Arranging and carrying out quarterly inspections on the condition of the properties
- Sourcing new contractors and negotiating rates
- Sourcing materials
- Dealing with supplier invoices
- Management of certificates i.e Gas Safety, ECIR, EPC and ensuring they are valid a
- Building good relations with the tenants, landlords and suppliers
- Adhoc tasks to assist team members and to ensure the smooth running of the office
Requirements:
- Knowledge of general maintenance issues
- Well presented with excellent communication skills (both spoken and written)
- Highly organised
- Genuine and trustworthy
- Self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative
- Able to work well under pressure
- Looking to build a long term career
- Computer literate
- Must have a driving license and own car
Hours 9am-6pm Monday – Friday and 9am – 5pm Saturday with a day off during the week.
