This high-end property company based central London specializes in property management and property finding/buying as well as renovations and construction. They are currently looking for an experienced, self-motivated and enthusiastic Property Manager to take on the management of part of their growing portfolio of several buildings that they currently manage in prime central London.
They are heavily focused on customer service and expect all their staff to offer the best possible service to their clients and tenants. You will be responsible for the efficient running of the property management portfolio assigned, ensuring the very best service is delivered at all times. You will be directly reporting to the Managing Director.
Duties will include:
- Receiving and actioning maintenance issues promptly and effectively.
- Instructing approved contractors
- Control costs and quality of work
- Check, authorize and post invoices
- Update property related schedules
- Arrange appropriate quotations
- Act as liaison between landlords, tenants, contractors
- Conduct property visits and related reporting
- Submit reports to landlords
- Follow up any identified maintenance issues
- Contribute to enhancing company systems and procedures
Knowledge, Skill and Experience:
- Understanding of the UK property management process is essential
- Professional approach and appearance
- Able to handle and resolve difficult and sensitive issues and disputes
- ARLA or RICS qualifications/certification preferred.
Must have at least 3 years’ experience in the industry via a property management company or estate agency in the UK.
Working Hours - Mon - Fri 8:30am - 5.30pm. Monitoring of mobile phone will be a crucial element of the job role and out of hours calls will need to be answered out all times in the unlikely event of an emergency. Salary dependent on experience.
