The company, who specialize in student and residential estate management nationwide, are seeking a driven and goal-orientated Property Assistant to work alongside the Facilities Management Team.

Your Responsibilities Would Include:
- To oversee the day-to-day maintenance of all properties within their portfolio, including cleaning, painting, plumbing, contractor management, work permits etc.
- To ensure a positive image of the properties.
- To monitor all activities relating to the buildings, reporting and acting where appropriate.
- Regular building inspections.
- To work alongside the team to ensure a maintenance and repair program is in place.
- To work alongside the team, compiling maintenance records relating to the buildings and taking action if/when required.
- To liaise with tenants and deal with any operational queries the may have.
- To assist with and maintain Health and Safety compliance on site.
- To assist with environmental management on site in compliance with the companies Policies and Procedures.
- To assist with fire and other safety evacuations and assisting with producing an emergency plan.
- To assist with managing work programs on site, acting as the liaison point for all parties involved.
- To produce regular reports for the Senior Facilities Management Team.
- To ensure procurement is carried out in line with company policy.
- Occasional out of hours working patterns may be required.
- Occasional travel required.

About You:
- Ability to plan and manage your own workload.
- Ability to work as part of a team, supporting colleagues across the business.
- Knowledge and understanding of legislation relating to property management.
- Excellent timekeeping.
- Knowledge of building and maintaining customer/supplier and tenant relationships.
- Knowledge of key issues to be noted on property inspections.
- Ability to contribute to the team’s business plan and strategy.
- Knowledge of budget monitoring.
