Due to exceptional demand, this leading independent specialist in the GB Smart Metering market is seeking a Project Support Officer/ Senior Administrator with relevant skills and experience to join their team. Based in Bridgend, this is the ideal role for an ambitious and proactive administrator looking to join a growing company. The role will enjoy a large degree of autonomy supporting the delivery of various initiatives.

ROLE DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the Head of Delivery, the post-holder will:
- Chase progress against deliverables & actions
- Manage the team mailbox
- Ensure information, processes and reporting for these key areas are maintained, managed and if appropriate improved:
o Risks & Issues
o Change Requests
o Documentation and record control
o Resources
- Provide reporting & analysis for senior level stakeholders and governance groups
- Work with the wider team to define suitable key performance indicator metrics for reporting at a senior level
- Provide ad-hoc support and coordination duties as required across the organisation spanning Project Delivery; Service Operations; Development & Test; Company Directors
- Maintain information sources across the organisation, ensuring information is up-to-date and correct
- Assist as required in all monthly reporting
- Undertake data collection and analysis
- Arrange meetings and take minutes

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
 
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- 5+ years of experience in an administration and/or project support role
- Consistent on-time delivery to targets/ timeframes
- Ability to prioritise work and adapt to changing deadlines and priorities
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Capability to juggle lots of different activities in parallel
- Experience defining and successfully implementing process improvements
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel & PowerPoint
- A can-do attitude and a willingness to be flexible within the role
- The ability to adapt to (and capitalise on) change
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work on own initiative with minimal supervision
- Drive and ability to self-motivate as the role involves working a degree of working independently
- Confidence to ask for support and input from the team as required to deliver
- Capability to work with people at all levels, including clients and suppliers

Whilst not essential, the following would also be advantageous:
- Previous experience within the Energy industry
- Experience working to deliver IT projects
- Experience of using the MS Project
- Experience of working with geographically dispersed teams and stakeholders
