This company works with the World’s top automotive OEMs and suppliers to deliver product data management solutions and change management consultancy. Our current clients include TATA, Ford, JLR, McLaren, BMW and Aston Martin, as well as a number of less well-known suppliers. We currently have 160 team members, 2 offices and work across 6 locations in the UK, Germany and are now expanding into North America.

They are looking for 2 highly-driven, entrepreneurial individuals to join their US team, to be at the forefront of this challenge. With a wide ranging brief, it’s essential that they should be able to demonstrate a broad range of business skills, with a keen eye for delivering technical excellence and instinctive customer service, plus the emotional intelligence to create genuine team fellowship within a rapidly expanding team.

Specific Responsibilities:

As a Project Manager, placed on a project in the US within a major automotive OEM, you will be responsible for maintaining continued excellence in project delivery, whilst leading business development activities in a new market for the company. This Includes:

- Business Development & Planning.
- Liaison with several departments including Engineering, Purchasing, Finance, Management and management of client relationships.
Single Point of Contact providing technical advice and answering queries.
- Data Management & Analysis.
- Maintenance of Parts Database (MS Excel) and Tracking Engineering Changes.
- Problem Solving and Issue Resolution.
- Reporting to US Business Leaders and Directors.

Desirable Skills & Attributes:

- An understanding of Business Development and Project Management Principles.
- A knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management.
- A basic knowledge of the Automotive Industry and/or Manufacturing Processes.

Education & Experience:

Experience in a Project/Production Management environment would be an advantage, but they will consider everyone on merit, and they welcome applications from recent graduates who are able to demonstrate exceptional personality, ability and an entrepreneurial spirit.

Degree at level 2.1 or above (or US equivalent), preferably in a STEM subject as the ability to demonstrate a technical and analytical mind is essential. MBA or other Business qualification would be helpful but not essential.

The post holder must be able to demonstrate eligibility to work in the US.
