An opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager/Quality Administrator in a growing, forward thinking IT consultancy. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to progress their career within project management and assist in providing support and quality aspects of the business.

On a daily basis you will assist the Managing Director with maintaining the company’s ISO 9000 Quality standard by looking after documents used by the company, maintaining flow charts and liaising with the company’s chosen provider for Quality standards.

Alongside with this you will manage projects in the sense that you will track their progress and ensure feedback has been given at various stages of the process. You will not be responsible for the projects but will monitor their progress.

There are some statistics to be kept, so a very good understanding of Microsoft Excel, including the production of graphs will be required and attention to detail will be paramount.

The successful applicant will be an efficient communicator who can motivate and get co-operation from colleagues and suppliers, they will be career driven, with a desire to succeed, bringing initiative and energy to the role.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Looking after the Quality documentation with regard to The Company’s quality manual – using Microsoft
Word and Visio.
- Maintaining spreadsheets including the production and maintenance of graphs.
- Monitoring projects and following the system on spreadsheets / forms.
- Emailing internal/external
- Typing up documents and organising files.
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Be efficient and reliable
- Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You will be expected to communicate via email and on the telephone
- To be able to use their initiative and work autonomously
- Keen to progress and learn.

As a growing company this is a fantastic opportunity for candidates that are looking to progress their career path. It would be useful, but not necessary to have some exposure to ISO 9001 Quality standard.

Immediate start, salary £23,000.
