Summary of the Role
This contract will run for a minimum of 9 months (with a strong likelihood of it then becoming a permanent role). Your role will be to manage multiple website-related projects for their clients the vast majority of whom are law firms.
The projects range widely in type and size. For example, small-scale modifications to an existing website (perhaps quoted at 5 hours work) or a big design & build for a new client (perhaps quoted at 200 hours). You will work directly for their Head of Project Management (a department that is overseen by their Operations Director).
You will be communicating with the production team on a daily basis to process projects instructed by our account management and business development teams.
You should have enthusiasm for online media, good customer service and strong communication/organisational skills.
Main Responsibilities
The following is a list of the main tasks this job role will handle, but is by no means an exhaustive list and may be varied from time to time:
- Monitor new projects, as briefed by Account Managers and business development teams
- Setup projects in SuiteCRM using established processes and templates
- Contact clients to book in calls/meetings, which includes liaising with them regarding ad hoc queries and updates across the project milestones
- Ensure that clients are sending in their deliverables on time to prevent project delays
- Balance resource planning across multiple projects
- Brief the team members assigned to each project and ensure that tasks are completed as per timeframes
- Ensure that administrative tasks are kept up to date on each project at any given point
- Ensure that work completed is of good quality (requires excellent attention to detail)
- Monitor time spent against budgets and quote for work outside of the original specification to prevent project creep
- Identify potential issues/risks and manage them and the client expectations accordingly
- Work constructively with the other Project Managers
Client Facing Activities
- To be a key member of client facing meetings or calls as required at any stage of the project process
- Act as the main point of contact throughout the project
