Hours: 40 hours per week, 0830-1700 Mon-Fri
Holiday: 28 days including public holidays
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 depending upon experience

This company is a well-established company who are creators of workspace furniture that combining California Cool with London Design based in London, UK and Los Angeles, California, USA.

Position overview
The role of Project Manager will be managing projects in an efficient manner, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, completing all projects on time and within budget, maximising gross profit without compromising quality.

Comfortable and proficient in taking ownership of projects including the key measures of meeting deadlines, managing budget, reporting to management, and having overall responsibility for on time delivery and successful completion.

Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience of at least 2 years in Project Management
- Good working knowledge of AutoCAD
- Project Management experience in furniture or at least board based/woodwork manufacture would be a distinct advantage

- Proficient in high-level professional communication - verbal and written both internal and external
- Able to communicate well and run meetings professionally with, Client, Site Team

Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Oversee drawing up programme/sequencing for submission to Main Contractor
- Work with and escalate issues to management as required
- Direct contact and build both relationship and discuss ongoing contracts going forward
- Face to face handover meeting with Salesperson - use handover form
- Client contact for completion and approval of all drawings required for completion dates
- Record and log any changes made in relevant files
- Obtain drawing approval
- Complete PICR and rams
- Client contact – booking in scheduled work and completion
- PM to contact customer to introduce themselves/ thank for order/ agree survey date and site contact/ discuss program/ PPE needed for survey/ special detail.
- Ensure order matches quote/ PT created order details sheet.
- Attend site to carry out site survey (use site measure and survey form)
- Confirm survey is done/ suggest project timeline (drawings/ approval etc.).
- Draw up job in Imos
- Arrange design of any bespoke units
- Send drawing to customer inc. when needed back by/ install date
- Any changes logged on PT/ CVA raised/ copy in file
- Obtain drawing approval
- Do PICR and rams (where needed)
- Book in install with customer
- Project handover with fitter. Check that fitter will wear correct uniform.
- PMs to have dress code when seeing customers
- Call pre-installation - OK for tomorrow? Fitters will be X. Rams, names and times. Double check site contact
- PM to be in touch on the day of the install. Check delivery/ fitters ok/ progress. Keep customer informed of progress.
- Communicate job is complete to customer
- Phone the customer if there are any snags
