This company's mission is to grow the co-operative economy and alongside their members they work to promote, develop and unite co-operatives across all sectors. Owned and run by their members, they connect businesses that give people more control over the things that matter to them.

They are seeking an entrepreneurial doer to lead on the formation of innovative funding models and targeted support interventions for emerging co-operative ventures, focusing primarily on the technology sector.

This new, one year fixed term role would suit someone passionate about innovation management and entrepreneurship, alongside a keen interest in co-operative models, social finance and technology.

The role focuses on advancin their efforts to grow the co-operative economy, centered on emerging innovations associated with technology – specifically platform co‑operatives, worker-tech and wider decentralised operating models.

- Experience of technology based enterprise and start-up requirements, including development and implementation of financial modelling and fundraising strategies
- Knowledge of social investment funding mechanisms and opportunities
- Experience of developing business / benefit cases with supporting financial analysis
- Experience of delivering initiatives carrying wide stakeholder support and building strong relationships
- Independent, imaginative, and entrepreneurial doer, willing and able to work independently on a fast-paced project

c. £29,260 - £34,425 (Dependent on experience)

The office is in a good location in Manchester City Centre, near Victoria Station. However the role is flexible with frequent travel to Manchester and London.
