The role
The overall purpose of the Programme Development Manager will be to act as the primary link between the organisation and the Shaping the World Academic in Residence. You will manage the programme of Shaping the World Humanitarian Engineering projects through all stages from concept to delivery.

Duties and responsibilities
- Support the Academic in Residence in the design and delivery of Shaping the World projects.
- Manage interface and communication with Shaping the World funders and project partners.
- Identify content or delivery partners to work with on specific projects.
- Build a knowledge and awareness of the field to spot new projects being undertaken, identifying cooperation opportunities and avoiding duplication.
- Manage all stages of projects through approvals onto trials and full scale implementation.
- Perform a secretariat role for AiR Programme meetings including making meeting arrangements, collating packs and minute-taking.
- Produce and monitor project budgets from conception to delivery to ensure that project spend stays on track.
- Produce clear and accurate financial reports on your projects for Academic in Residence and Group Directors.

What are they looking for?
The successful applicant will have significant experience in working with subject matter experts to design and deliver projects and services through a range of delivery channels. A demonstrable track record of delivery is also essential. The candidate will have strong written and oral communication skills; able to build and maintain networks and relationships. The post holder will also need an affinity for engineering and humanitarian development.
