Background

This is an exciting opportunity to manage programmes and client relationships. They are looking for a skilled manager who understands community engagement and is passionate about delivering high quality, engaging and effective projects. This person will help drive a number of 12 month rolling engagement projects including the creation and support of steering groups whilst making the programme a fantastic experience for residents and funders.

Job outline
The Programme and Client Manager will take responsibility for overseeing a Local Engagement team and work with the Central Engagement Team to support successful delivery of all projects. A key component will be to provide client support to the programme including timely reports, face to face meetings, ensuring the KPIs are delivered and the client experiences a good programme.

This role would involve working closely with, and under the line management of the Marketing Director.

Responsibilities:
- Support consistent and effective delivery of key objectives and outcomes of programmes
- Work alongside the Operational Project Manager
- Coordinate and manage a Local Engagement Team to deliver their individual projects and objectives, recruitment of Engagement Staff. Provide guidance and support to Local Engagement Team including co-creation of sustain plans. Plan and oversee community engagement within each programme including the creation and chairing of steering groups
- Oversee and support continual learning and improvement of projects to ensure ongoing development and innovation and use of best practice
- Provide regular programme reports and updates to colleagues and funders
- Point of contact for clients across all programmes and oversee management of client relationships

The role will be office based in the Head Office in Reading with travel across the programmes expected.
