This is a great opportunity for an experienced, or aspiring, Production Supervisor or Manufacturing Engineer to bring their experience and enthusiasm for getting things done to this new post, created through expansion, and within a leading UK manufacturer that is in a phase of positive change and growth.
Working at one of our key UK sites, you will build on a strong track record of success, whilst bringing your our fresh approach and ideas to our workplace.
Reporting to the Site Manager, you will be a member of the factory management team and look to continually improve manufacturing and quality strategies.
You will have further responsibility for fully utilise factory equipment and site labour, whilst ensuring customer service expectations are met, at a modern JIT manufacturing plant. We also need you to be an active advocate for quality improvements and other innovation at the site.
In turn, you will have, and be:
- A background either as a Manufacturing Engineer or a Production Supervisor.
- A robust, flexible individual with the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent leadership and man-management skills are essential, to inspire the site team to further success.
- A track record delivering enhanced production performance, and in embracing change and innovation.
