Job Title: Production Operative
37.5 hr per week 8.45am – 5 pm Mon–Thu, Friday 9 am – 4 pm @ £7.50/hr - Burnley/Nelson area
8-week temporary contact with the potential for permanent employment.
A small but fast growing pharmaceutical & sports supplement distribution company are looking for a hardworking and reliable person to assist in the manufacturing of their high-quality products. There is also the requirement to support the warehouse team with other tasks. there is the opportunity for the right person to become an integral part of their business.
The main responsibilities of the position will include
- Manufacturing of pharmaceutical vials
- Weighing out ingredients
- Blending ingredients
- Crimping the vials
- Counting and preparing vials for dispatch
- Maintaining quality standards within the warehouse
- Ensuring the cleanliness of the manufacturing Equipment & work area
The position will require you to work alongside the warehouse manager and the rest of the team so a good level of English language is essential. The post requires you to be able to use your own initiative to complete work in line with business needs and objectives. You will need to be physically fit and able to work to targets. You will need to exhibit good communication skills, basic literacy, numeracy skills and time management skills.
Full training will be provided on the job.
GCSE’s or equivalent including English, science and maths, or equivalent levels of skill is preferable. Previous experience of manufacturing is desirable, but not essential as full training will be provided.
