A fantastic opportunity to join an established and growing window blind producer. They are currently recruiting a manufacturing operative to join the company on a full time, permanent contract.
They try to operate a fun a rewarding business with regular socials, company funded medical cover and regular investment in new machines and systems to improve the operation for everyone involved.
You will be responsible for the day to day manufacturing, packing and dispatching of made to measure products we sell online. You will be working in a small team to achieve agreed targets and tasks through the effective management of the time and resources available.
Within this role, you will work effectively on a daily basis, to ensure maximum operational performance and both observe and ensure that all site health and safety policies and procedures are adhered to in order to maintain a safe working environment for all staff.
You will be a hard-working, detail orientated individual who always strives to do their best. The team work hard and deliver amazing results so to fit in you will need to have the same attitude.
No experience is necessary as full training will be provided.
You will be punctual, practical and able to use your own initiative to get the job done.
You will have a keen eye for detail and be able to demonstrate this in the interview.
Requirements
- Level C at GCSE in Maths or equivalent
- Must have own transport
Salary & Benefits
- £18,000 per year
- Monday to Thursday 7am - 4:00pm with half an hour for lunch.
- Friday 7am – 1:30pm with half an hour for lunch.
- 20 days’ holiday plus bank holidays.

Factory is based in Bottesford which is within 20 minute drive from Grantham, Melton Mowbray and Newark via car. This is a rural location so own transport is essential.
