This company is one of the market leaders in linen rental services to hotels and business throughout Scotland and the North of England. Established more than 100 years ago, our successful company employs over 800 staff. The company currently operates from five plants in Scotland and one in the North East of England.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, passionate Production Manager to manage the day to day operations of the site in order to meet the production targets and implement improvements to the running of the factory.

The general purpose of this role will be the responsibility for all aspects of production with a particular emphasis on:

- Organisation and training of staff

- Achievement of production targets and costs

- Scheduling of work throughout to meet specific customer requirements

- Continuous improvement through development of the operation

Reporting to the Plant Manager, your key accountabilities will be:

- Assisting the Plant Manager in assessing the plant's labour requirements and in all aspects of production with due regard to cost

- Responsible for training, performance reviews, incident reporting and attendance records

- Monitoring on-going machine production and producing daily production reports

- Assisting the team leaders in their development as leaders

- Monitor production quality in conjunction with customers’ requirements whilst developing a quality culture throughout the plant

- Cooperating and assisting with the implementation of any modifications to the plant or working procedures as directed

Salary - DOE

40 Hours per week flexible and holiday cover for other Production Managers., this role will include weekend work.
