Products produced include Cable Harnesses, Panel and Box builds, Interconnection Assemblies and Panel/Cabinet systems.
The company also offers a fulfilment service to its clients including procurement services, stock holding, firmware configuration, testing, servicing and direct shipment to clients’ end customer.
The role of the Production Engineer is to work closely with the Sales; Purchasing; Design Engineering; Quality and Production Management Team to ensure that the organisation can meet the present and future supply needs of its customers.
The Production Engineer will ensure that:
- Bills of Materials are accurate and reflect up to date sourcing agreements.
- Designs and drawings are current and are agreed with customers.
- The introduction of new products are managed and manufacturing issues identified prior to full production.
- Current and new systems or processes are fully documented and observed.
- Information on Tooling/Jigs/Equipment etc. is up to date to ensure that the production capabilities of the organisation meet customer requirements.
- Recorded Skill Sets are monitored and matched to customer demands.
The ideal candidate will have the following Experience/Qualifications:
- Manufacturing Industry involving Electronic/Electromechanical Products.
- Skilled in the use of sketching / 2D drawing packages such as Autocad, Fastcad, and Turbocad.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Computer literate with Microsoft Office and CRM experience.
- Valid Driving Licence.
