This is an opportunity to join an award-winning, vibrant and fast growing company that consists of two fashion brands.

They have an exciting opportunity for a Production Assistant to join their Production and Development team. This is an entry level position for an organised individual to work across the womenswear brand and their maternitywear brand. You will be supporting the Head of Production and Development, working within their busy production department assisting in the general day-to-day administration from purchase order management through to working on sample management.

The ideal candidate will be hard-working, extremely organised and able to work both independently and as part of a team. If you are interested in joining their friendly team they would love to hear from you.

Please note this role is temporary and is expected to last for a 6 month period.

Summary of Key Activities:
- Purchase order raising
- Ensuring purchase order trackers and logs are maintained and updated.
- Checking invoices and packing lists
- Working with customer service to ensure products are delivered to the customers on-time
- Working with Wholesale, keeping them updated with all delivery of orders
- Working alongside the production department, assisting in general day-to-day administration of the department
- Ability to work to a critical path to ensure deliveries are on-time. Including with the technical department to ensure sample are approved to Production
- Communicating daily with the factories
- Liaising with shipping and manufacturers to ensure on time arrival
- Approving bulk fabrics
- Sample Management with manufacturers and managing in-house sampling
- Report in the Head of Product and Development
- Ad Hoc duties

Experience and Skills
- 1-2 year’s experience in a Product Development role
- Basic knowledge of fabrics
- Understanding of Critical paths and option counts
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook

- Well organised and able to work towards tight deadlines.
- Comfortable working closely with other departments such as Design, Wholesale and Customer Service

Remuneration and employment terms
Salary: Competitive
Hours: 8:45 am – 5:30 pm
Location: Kentish Town, London, NW5 2QE

Holiday allowance: 20 days holiday + 8 Bank Holidays per annum
