A live events and bespoke creative technical solutions company based in Loughborough are seeking a production assistant to join their growing production team.

This role is an opportunity to support projects for major UK and international brands, ranging from custom built exhibitions, inventive conference production to interactive experiential marketing events.

Role Overview:
To support the production team with the hands-on planning, organising and delivery of our clients’ live events. This role will involve handling essential administrative and logistical tasks in addition to liaising with internal staff, suppliers, contractors and clients.

Responsibilities:
- Maintaining an accurate tracking of the production team’s projects, people and timelines to be a central point of information for the team, contractors, suppliers and clients
- Researching and booking travel and accommodation for staff and freelancers
- Assisting project manager with scheduling and booking staff and crew for projects
- Planning and booking of transportation and associated logistics as required for events
- Assisting with researching suppliers and making relevant bookings/purchases
- Fielding client enquiries, when project managers are unavailable and liaising with the team to provide an appropriate response
- Undertaking general project administration e.g. compiling information, producing call sheets and scheduling meetings
- Providing on-site support to the team for larger/complex projects
- Processing purchase orders, credit card transactions and expense claims for the production team
- Producing budget and information reports to assist the project managers in analysing projects

The role will occasionally require UK/international travel and will require the successful candidate to sometimes work non-standard working hours including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

The successful candidate will have:
- 3 years’ experience in a support/coordinator role
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft and Google Office Suites
- Experience of financial administration
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage and prioritise workloads
- A proactive, self-motivated and flexible approach to work coupled with a positive and professional demeanour
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience of working under pressure in a fast paced, dynamic environment
- Previous experience of working in corporate events or similar would be advantageous
