Bonus Structure - Up to 5% KPI (personal performance) & Up to 5% Company Performance

You will be working for a well-respected, multi-award winning 5th generation family business based in Chadderton, Oldham. They are widely recognised as a leading designer and importer of gift and housewares to the retail trade throughout the UK & Ireland.

They have an immediate vacancy for a photographer based at their Head Office. The success of the company in part is due to the successful range of over 8000 lines which is updated regularly throughout the year. All these lines require several photographs including packaging and lifestyle images to be used by all our sales channels.

This company is looking for someone who cares passionately about a high quality and high standard of photography. You would be involved from the moment a new line arrives, photographing and interacting with all relevant departments to bring the product to market through their multiple sales channels.

The successful applicant will be a self-starter and have the enthusiasm and vision to manage their own work load as well as looking at ways of improving the standard and quality of photography. This role will report to the Showroom Manager.

Responsibilities:
- Photograph all new lines to agreed quality specification, format and within agreed time frame
- Photography for editorial and advertising shots for use by the Graphic Designer
- Photography shots for the website and brand sites including hero shots, shots for banners, new product launches, promotions etc
- Post-production editing of shots to a professional standard
- Production of brand videos for use in the showroom, on-line and at shows
- Maintenance and upkeep of all photography equipment & working area.
- Researching and sourcing appropriate props
- Accurately naming and storing all digital images
- Manage any external photography requirements including interpretation of brief, organising samples and approving the final shot
- Associated administration of database

Skills:
- Ability to self manage workload effectively, whilst maintaining an excellent creative flair.
- Fully proficient digital photographer with experience of product and lifestyle photography
- Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative suite
- Excellent organisational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks at any one time
- Strong team player
- Advanced working knowledge of DSLR camera equipment and lighting
- Advanced working knowledge of 360 degree and flat bed photography equipment
- Creative flair with idea generation for new ways of creating compelling photographs both for individual product shots as well as creative mood photography
- Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines including working additional hours during busy periods
