This is an exciting opportunity to join the UK's largest one-stop shop for the jewellery maker.

As a Product Manager Assistant in the jewellery industry, you will provide support and assistance to a Product Manager (PM) responsible for the lifecycle of various product categories. Working in a team of 6, you will learn about users & a product’s market, test your ability to meet tight deadlines & build your experience in campaign planning.

In return, they will provide you with on the job training, guidance & the support you need to build on your existing expertise.

Duties include supporting the PM in:
- Managing & delivering a successful product range to ensure maximisation of sales/profit
- Being responsible for each phase of the product life cycle from conception/launch through to management, review & exit
- Understanding the needs of the customer & developing the existing product range
- Developing plans & campaigns through effective market research and data analysis including gathering information on prices/ranges of competitors
- Producing clear reports on the findings for managers perusal
- Writing product content for new lines & dealing with queries following their launch
- Managing & enhancing relationships with external stakeholders such as suppliers e.g. for stock control and management
- Increasing category awareness to internal stakeholders such as Supply Chain, Marketing, Ecommerce & Call Centre departments
- Gather and evaluate ideas & opinions including from customer feedback

The successful candidate will have:
- A Degree level qualification or equivalent
- Knowledge/experience within the Jewellery sector would be advantageous
- Administrative experience
- Proven experience in dealing with suppliers / stock control
- Experience or understanding of purchasing & buying
- Ability to prioritise & schedule work to meet demands set by the department, company or external customer
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- A good standard of numeracy & skills in data analysis
- Effective team working skills
- Ability to use initiative for independent work

Hours of work:
37.5 hours per week, Mon to Thurs 0830-1645, Fri 0830-1530 with a 30 minute lunch break each day.
