This is an opportunity to join a dynamic and forward thinking Security & IT Integrated System company. They are growing rapidly with offices now open in both Spain and Italy as well as the UK and are planning to continue to grow into other EU countries.

As a Stores Assistant, your role will be focussed on the effective administration processes of the procurement and stores function. You will support the Procurement Manager in ensuring records are up to date, processes are followed and procedures utilised.

Key Responsibilities of the role include:
- Processing goods received in a timely manner
- Issue stock items to site
- Conducting stock checks
- Expediting purchase orders
- Processing purchase orders
- Support the ongoing development and implementation of procurement strategy, policy and procedures
- Liaise with managers across the business to ensure that stock is processed and managed appropriately.
- Support the Procurement Manager in the assessment of suppliers against structured criteria to evaluate their effectiveness.
- Take rapid action in identifying supplier underperformance and report issues to the Procurement Manager.
- Develop strong relationships with suppliers based on open, honest and timely communication.
- Measure all aspects of stores activity and processes to drive cost efficiencies and identify areas for improvements.

You will be required to work from the Group’s Head Office, which is based in the idyllic town of Bollington in Cheshire.
