A government institution is looking for a press officer. The position will suit someone who can write high level content for publication, generate fresh ideas, produce a thorough research and find creative ways to deliver messages under tight deadlines and high pressure working environment.
Role Title: Press officer

Location: London, W8
Job type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: 32K per annum
22 days annual leave + extended holiday allowances

Duties:
- Awareness international politics in general, and Middle East specifically
- Ability to write op-eds that are high enough quality to be printed in national broadsheet newspapers
- Produce of compelling original content, including graphics and video, for social media platforms.
- Monitoring and analysing media coverage and producing coverage reports
- Draft emails, letters, articles, blog posts, and briefing notes
- Acting as a point of contact for journalists
- Preparing high officials for interviews
- Writing materials for a range of on and offline channels and platforms including press releases, and statements.

Requirements:
- BA, preferably in related areas - must
- 1-3 years of experience in relevant industries – must
- Must have work permit / UK visa (Valid for at least 2 years)
