Due to organic company growth and departmental restructure, this company – a well-established and successful marketing agency in Billingshurst, West Sussex, has created a brand new role for an experienced B2B PR Manager to work within the existing PR department.
With clients ranging from accountancy firms to IT providers and construction sector operators to green energy suppliers, a career at this company is fast-paced, varied and always exciting!
This job may be for you if you:
- have a minimum 18 months’ experience in a PR role
- are super organised
- take an interest and are well versed in current news and business trends
- have an impressive grasp of grammar and the written word
- possess excellent attention to detail
- are confident at speaking to members of the public, clients and journalists
- are well presented
- are prepared to ‘muck in’ with whatever task is required to get the job done!
- have a full and valid driving licence due to the head office’s semi-rural location and the fact you may be required to attend off-site meetings (pool car provided)
Responsibilities:
- Writing press releases
- Compiling client reports
- Planning for and leading client and internal meetings
- Organising and running events
- Devising creative PR campaigns
- Generating positive media coverage
- Liaising with journalists
- Hitting performance-related targets
- Researching and utilising industry statistics for releases and articles
- Identifying relevant news hooks to create compelling content for B2B media
