Are you currently working as a Planner but looking to take that next step into a Senior Planner role in the near future? You will be involved in the preparation, submission and negotiation of planning applications for residential development, having identified the most appropriate planning strategy for the site. The role will also involve submitting appeals to the Planning Inspectorate and attending Planning Hearings and Inquiries.

You will engage with their in-house Policy Team to help promote sites through both the Local and Neighbourhood Planning processes. The role will require active engagement with community groups, key stakeholders, parish councils, and planning officers to gain support for sites.

- You must be at least 2 years MRTPI or equivalent qualified (such as RICS).
- You must have at least 4 years post degree experience working in the planning sector, preferably with involvement in the residential sector.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong professional relationships. Ability to engage with people from a range of backgrounds.
- Results driven and self-motivated with a proactive approach to work.
- Ability to work effectively using own initiative, with minimal supervision but also as part of a team.
- Full UK driving licence.

Hours of Work: 40 hour working week, with flexible start and finish times around the core hours. Ability to work compressed hours, resulting in working a 9 day fortnight. A reduced hour or part time role would be considered.
