Job Title: Experienced Pharmacy Dispenser

Location:Tunbridge Wells,Kent

Contract Type: Permanent

Job Type: 40 Hours per week : Monday to Friday 09:00-18:00 and Saturdays on a rota.

Reporting directly to the Pharmacist Manager, your support is vital to the pharmacist in the provision of many different services. You will be part of a hard-working and established team working in the dispensary, and will be involved in developing relationships with patients and GP surgery’s in order to ensure that we deliver the most effective customer service. Teamwork is a vital part of this family owned business which seeks to reward, recognise and empower our staff.

Responsibilities & Duties

- To support and assist all members of the pharmacy team
- To dispense prescriptions accurately and professionally within legal and company guidelines
- Ensure the correct storage of the medication, ensure good stock rotation and monitor and check expiry dates
- Sort and file prescriptions and other relevant paperwork as per the Company’s Standard Operating Procedure
- Maintain a clean & tidy environment
- Liaise with GP surgeries and their teams to enable the pharmacy to deliver the highest possible customer service

Qualifications & Skill’s

Candidates must hold an NVQ2 or equivalent in Pharmacy Services

Candidates must have basic IT knowledge and good customer service skills. Candidates must also be able to perform well under pressure, and work as part of a team.
